Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo watched on as the Red Devils beat Chelsea at Old Trafford.
Young star Kobbie Mainoo is having to wait for his first start of the season at Old Trafford, dropping to the bench against Chelsea.
It might not have been a bad idea to give the youngster a breather after playing three first team games in a week, all away from home.
It worked out, with Manchester United winning 2-1 against Chelsea, and another young star was back in the headlines.
Alejandro Garnacho stars v Chelsea
Mainoo's FA Youth Cup winning teammate Alejandro Garnacho did start the game and made a major contribution to the win.
The 19-year-old provided the assist for Manchester United's second goal, with both netted by Scott McTominay.
Garnacho sent a message out on Instagram, writing: "This is Manchester United."
His message was loud and clear. This was a display of passion and pride, with quality too, deserving of all three points.
