A young Nigerian lady narrates how her father lost his life in an accident on his way to the village to retrieve a dictionary she left behind.
A user on the microblogging platform, X had quizzed his followers about remarkable tales about their fathers.
Amaka, identified as @amyesomchi jumped on the thread to open up on how she lost her father during a trip to the village.
According to the lady, her father had a burial to attend at the village and she asked him to help her retrieve a dictionary she once had forgotten in the village; unfortunately, he died in an accident with the dictionary in his hand.
"December 2011, I forgot my Oxford dictionary in the village. He had a burial to attend January and I asked him to help me bring it. He had a fatal accident, died holding the dictionary. Rip Pman! I'll always love you🕊️. You have no idea how much I've wanted to hear this, "It's not your fault" cos I actually feel guilty," she wrote.
Her narration generated tons of reactions from social media users urging her not to blame herself for the incident as it was just a mere unfortunate coincidence.
