Kurt Zouma: West Ham star robbed at home with £100,000 worth of cash and jewelry missing

West Ham have offered a reward to track down armed robbers who attacked Kurt Zouma and his family in their multi-million dollar home.

West Ham defender Kurt Zouma is the latest victim of a high-profile robbery attack in English football.

Reports emerged that the French defender's home was raided by a  "highly professional" masked gang just before midnight on Saturday while he was at home with his young family.

According to The Sun, the robbers are understood to have escaped with cash and jewellery including high-end watches worth up to £100,000.

The break-in also led to Zouma missing his team's 1-1 Prem draw with Crystal Palace on Sunday.

West Ham release statement  on Kurt Zouma robbery incident

Zouma, 29 - who is married to wife Sandra, the mother of his four young children had items of "significant value" and "sentimental importance" stolen from their £3million Essex home, a statement from West Ham said.

Following the robbery incident over the weekend, West Ham released a statement that read:

"West Ham United has offered a £25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and successful prosecution of burglars who broke into defender Kurt Zouma's home on the eve of the Club's Premier League fixture against Crystal Palace this weekend.

"Kurt's home was broken into on Saturday while all his family were in the house, leaving everyone present extremely distressed. While thankfully no one was harmed, it was a traumatic experience for the West Ham United defender, his wife and their young family.

"The burglars took items of significant value and of huge personal and sentimental importance to the family.

"The West Ham United family continue to offer Kurt's family their full support."

The Sun reported that police were forced to storm Zouma'a £3million home- on an exclusive street where well-heeled neighbours hire private security - and stayed with the family for hours after Saturday night's raid.

The news comes more than a year after the former Chelsea defender was scrutinized for kicking his pet cat in his home.

Zouma was reportedly suspended by West Ham and forced to pay a fine following public outcry over the incident.

However, since then, the 29-year-old skipper has since been re-integrated into the team, helping them win the UEFA Europa Conference League in the 2022-23 campaign.
