Maguire was in superb form as United went through the month unscathed following three wins.

The former Leicester City star featured in all the games, helping Ten Hag's men to three clean sheets which saw them move to within six points of leaders, Arsenal.

According to the club website via the Premier League, Maguire made the joint-highest blocks and the fifth-highest clearances in the month.

This will be Maguire's first-ever nomination, but he faces a difficult competition from five others.
