On 28th November 2023 the Oba of Benin, Oba N'Edo Uku Akpolokpolo Ewuare II while speaking at the Lagos State Government when he visited the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu said that God has ordained that Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu will become President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
According to Channels Television, the Oba of Benin, Oba N'Edo Uku Akpolokpolo Ewuare II while speaking at the Lagos State Government said "God has ordained that Tinubu would become President of Nigeria. We are all one. I am for peace and tranquility. We must live together as one. Nigeria is big. We must iron out our differences and learn to live together as one, big family."
On the other hand, the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu appreciates and acknowledges the Oba of Benin, Oba N'Edo Uku Akpolokpolo Ewuare II for his visit to the Lagos State Government. He also commended the traditional ruler for all the excellent work he has been doing towards the development and progress of the country.
