NPFL fines Rangers football club of Enugu N1m for violent conduct

Rangers football club of Enugu, have been charged for breaching the Nigeria Premier Football League Framework & Rules.

During the match at Abia Warriors on Sunday, November 25, it is alleged some officials of Rangers brought the game to disrepute following their violent reaction to provocation from the home team (Abia Warriors), which is an act of misconduct under NPFL rules.

Apart from the fine of N1 million, Rangers have also been ordered to identify and produce the officials involved in the act of misconduct for further sanctions.

The Enugu club have been warned that a repetition oftge same act of misconduct will result in severe sanctions.

The NPFL said Rangers have 48 hours from the date of notice to appeal or accept the sanctions.
