Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has claimed some people want the club to be relegated to the National Conference.
Guardiola was speaking to the media on Friday ahead of Liverpool's visit in the Premier League.
Last week, Everton were docked 10 points for breaching the league's Financial Fair Play (FFP) rules.
The punishment brought up the issue of the 115 charges hanging over City.
Guardiola was asked about Everton's points deduction in regard to Man City's 115 charges and he replied: "Why should I not believe? It's the lawyers to make the defence in front of the judge. I didn't change my opinion; we wait and after we accept the resolutions.
"I'm not going to say one word about Everton because I don't know the reality of what happened. They are two completely different cases. I know people are saying why don't City go to the Conference but let's wait.
"It's two different cases, it's not the same. One of them is longer, it's more complicated."
