A concerned Nigerian man sparked discussions on social media by calling for a protest over the high price of the traditional food, fufu, which is being sold as high as ₦100 per wrap.
In his post, the man urged Nigerians to join him in the protest, expressing that if he doesn't receive their support, he might protest alone.
His statement read: "Fufu is now 100 naira per wrap. This is my last straw and the camel has died. If you all won't protest, I'll do it alone. You can't charge such a high price for fufu and expect me to stay calm."
Shortly after, his followers and numerous concerned individuals flooded his comments section, sharing their opinions regarding the economic situation and the price of fufu in their respective areas.
