Barcelona is exploring conditions to sign Wilfred Ndidi from Leicester City.
The Super Eagles midfielder stayed with the English club despite their relegation from the Premier League last season.
The 26-year-old signed for the Foxes in 2017 and has made 252 appearances for the club in all competitions, contributing 14 goals and 16 assists in the process.
Ndidi only has a contract with Leicester City until next June and he is widely expected to leave as a free agent.
The club is believed to be a long-term admirer of Ndidi and according to Sport, the La Liga giants are hopeful of signing him in June 2024.
Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid and Juventus are also said to be keen but Barca is believed to be at the head of the queue for his signature.
