A user called Johnny Jeff said that the Pope has nothing to do with Christianity and following Christ. Additionally, he quoted the bible and said "It's definitely not that pope!'
Other Social Media users said that the Pope is making everything up when it comes to Christianity as he goes along while making loads of money, power, status, and being worshiped as the voice of God and the Vatican.
According to The New York Times, although Pope Francis promotes the idea that the church should reach out to everyone including the LGBTQ community, he still has not changed his traditional teachings which says "homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered."
