Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand, has called on winger Antony to improve his display for the club.
Ferdinand said this while sympathizing with the Manchester United fans who booed Antony during their Premier League 1-0 win over Fulham on Saturday.
Recall that an injury-time goal from Bruno Fernandes gave Erik ten Hag's side all three points against Fulham.
Antony particularly was ineffective on the flank before he was hauled off shortly after the hour mark.
The Brazilian was jeered by his own supporters as he made his way to the dugout.
He is yet to score a goal or register an assist for the Red Devils this season.
"You could smell the frustrations let alone hear it," Ferdinand said on TNT Sports when speaking about Antony.
"Listen, he's played 11 games this season with no goals and zero assists, from an attacking player that is not good enough, that is the facts. He has to improve dramatically."
