Supercomputer predicts Premier League weekend fixtures including Arsenal and Man Utd

This weekend's fixtures mark the first Premier League matches in November, as the likes of Spurs, Arsenal and Man City aim to continue their good starts and Man Utd look to kickstart their season.

Arsenal's early Premier League title tilt will take a hit this weekend at Newcastle, according to data experts.

The Gunners are currently second in the table, behind only local rivals Tottenham - and ahead of last season's champions Manchester City on goal difference. But their title mettle will be firmly put to the test on Saturday evening when they head to Tyneside to face the Magpies.

Eddie Howe's side are fresh off a dominant victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford in the Carabao Cup, while Arsenal suffered defeat to West Ham in the same competition. And football analysts for BetVictor have crunched the numbers and suggested Arsenal will come unstuck at St. James' Park.

They give the hosts a 40.4 per cent chance of coming out on top, compared to Arsenal at 30.3 and the draw at 29.3. That would open the door for City to leapfrog last season's runners-up, and they are fully expected to do so, boasting a whopping 81.8 per cent likelihood of beating Bournemouth at home.

Spurs sit atop the Premier League table after a brilliant start under new boss Ange Postecoglou. They face Mauricio Pochettino 's Chelsea on his first return to his former club, with the experts predicting the Argentine will head back west having tasted defeat.

Like the Newcastle vs Arsenal clash, though, it is anticipated to be a close one. Tottenham are given a 41.2 per cent chance of a win, with the draw and Chelsea win at 27.1 and 31.7 per cent respectively.

There's arguably no top-flight boss in need of a win more than Manchester United's Erik ten Hag. The Red Devils have already lost half of their league matches and after being dumped out of the cup, another defeat could prove fatal.

However, they are forecasted to win on the road at Fulham. Although fans shouldn't get too excited, they are still given ZERO chance of winning the title come the end of the season.

Erik ten Hag and Manchester United are tipped to earn a welcome reprieve on the road at Fulham

Liverpool are given the best chance of any away team, rated at 66.6 per cent to beat struggling Luton at Kenilworth Road. It's a familiar story for all of the teams at the bottom, with the three promoted sides all marooned in the relegation zone.

Crystal Palace are strongly fancied to pile on the misery for Burnley and Vincent Kompany at Turf Moor. And it's not much better for Sheffield United. The Blades have picked up just a single point so far this season and that is tipped to continue with in-form Wolves making the trip to Bramall Lane.

The bottom three have all played 10 times and with a combined points tally of just nine, their hopes are already hanging by a thread. BetVictor suggest Sheffield United have a 98.3 per cent chance of relegation, with Burnley (81.8) and Luton (59.7) expected to join them back in the Championship come next August.
