Following a successful knee surgery on Thursday, Neymar is expected to miss ten months of football action.
Neymar's injury happened barely two months after he agreed to a £2.5 million-per-week contract with Al-Hilal, a Saudi Arabian team.
The Brazilian international has played just a few games for his new team Al-Hilal, scoring only one goal and providing three assists in five games.
In last month's World Cup qualifier against Uruguay, the Brazilian sustained meniscus and anterior cruciate ligament injuries.

After undergoing surgery to address the ailment, the Sun has reported that Neymar will miss the rest of the season.
Neymar was seen in a video posted on Instagram from his hospital bed while medical professionals examined his leg.
In addition, he uploaded a photo of himself taking a FaceTime nap in bed. He captioned the picture saying, "Thank you, Lord! Everything is alright... now, strength and patience in recovery 🙌🏽."
Neymar thanked the lord for having a successful surgery and looking forward to strength and patient recovery.
Brazil is still optimistic that he will be fit for the Copa America next summer, even if he will miss the remainder of the domestic campaign.
