Ilkay Gundogan expressed his dissatisfaction with Barcelona over the lack of assistance he had throughout his transition.
The German international left Manchester City after winning a treble to sign for Barcelona on a free transfer in the summer.
Since his move to Spain, Gundogan and his family have found it difficult to find a new apartment, with Barcelona not helping with housing issues.
After making Ilkay Gundogan and his wife Sara Arfaoui feel abandoned, it is said that Barcelona has apologised to them.
Gundogan having housing problem
Gundogan has struggled to get a house to shelter his family since his move to Barcelona and the German isn't happy about it.
According to SPORT, he complained to Barcelona because he thought he should have received more assistance with housing, transportation, and family care.
It was also reported by Daily Mail, that the club's reserve players are forced to take on second jobs in order to pay for their transportation to and from training, which is a larger source of concern for him.
Due to Barcelona's player registration regulations, which caused chaos during the summer, Gundogan was only registered a few days prior to the team's season opener against Getafe.
In 2022, Arfaoui openly voiced her dissatisfaction with the quality of eateries during her struggles to settle in Manchester with her spouse.
When a follower inquired about her favourite local restaurant, she responded as follows, "Sorry I'm sad to be honest but nothing. I tried so bad to find a good restaurant but... horrible food everywhere.
"Can't find a real Italian or good sushi or just fresh food .. everything frozen. Restaurants here are just focused on making money with drinks and shot like night clubs not quality food."
IlKay Gundogan scored Barcelona's opening goal against rivals Real Madrid in the El Classico but lost the game 2-1 to the Los Blancos.
