Tottenham Hotspur right-winger, Dejan Kulusevski has hailed the contribution of the club's manager Ange Postecoglou, which has turned the club into a title contender.
Dejan Kulusevski has been a prominent player for coach Ange Postecoglou who won the treble in Scotland last season before he joined Tottenham Hotspur ahead of this season.
Under the tutelage of Postecoglou, the 23-year-old Swedish winger has played in all Spurs' ten Premier League games and has contributed two goals to Spurs' title charge. The Sweden international has also made one appearance in the EFL Cup this season.
As for the team, Postecoglou has found a miraculous way to make Tottenham a Premier League title contender even though they lost their record goalscorer, Harry Kane to Bayern Munich in last summer transfer window.
So far this season, Spurs have recorded an unprecedented eight wins and two draws in ten Premier League games. This performance has earned them 26 points and they are currently topping the league table, two points above second and third-placed Arsenal and Manchester City, respectively.
Interestingly, only Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are yet to record a defeat so far in the 2023-2024 Premier League season.
Dejan Kulusevski believes that the positive result Tottenham have been recording so far this season is because of the positive energy coach Postecoglou brought to the club as he described the Australian tectician as an "excellent manager".
"Postecoglou, an excellent manager. He speaks about life stories, not just football", Kulusevski said as quoted by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
"It was clear already in pre-season, training sessions under Ange are funny and we work a lot with the ball, we press a lot. But also, we learn from him. We're really enjoying".
Tottenham Hotspur's next Premier League game is against their struggling London rivals, Chelsea at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium at 9 p.m. on Monday, November 6.
