Manchester United boss, Erik ten Hag could not confirm whether midfielder Casemiro will be fit for this weekend's Premier League derby with Manchester City or not.
Ten Hag insisted that it is a 'race against the clock' for the Brazil international.
The Dutchman also provided an update on defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who had a thigh problem, ahead of the Manchester derby at Old Trafford.
Recall that Casemiro has been out with an ankle injury, missing Man United's wins over Sheffield United in the Premier League and FC Copenhagen in the Champions League over the last week.
The former Real Madrid star is hoping to be back to take on Man City on Sunday, but Ten Hag is not certain the 31-year-old will be available.
"Aaron [Wan-Bissaka] was training today, Casa [Casemiro] is a race against the clock, not 100 per cent," Ten Hag told a press conference on Friday.
Manchester United go into the clash with Man City on a three-match winning streak.
