Manchester United have received a major boost ahead of their Premier League tie with Manchester City this weekend.
Man United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka is closing in on a return to full fitness and could be back in the Manchester United team within the next 10 days.
According to the Daily Mail, Wan-Bissaka has resumed training on the grass at Carrington and is nearing a return.
The hope is that the 25-year-old will be back up to speed and available within the next few days if the final stages of his rehabilitation go according to plan.
Wan-Bissaka has been out of action for Erik ten Hag's side since the middle of September after sustaining a hamstring injury in the closing stages of Man United's defeat to Brighton after being subbed on late in the match.
With Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia injured, and Sergio Reguilon also struggling for fitness, Wan-Bissaka's absence has been keenly felt by the Red Devils with midfielder Sofyan Amrabat even required to fill in at full-back.
However, the Red Devils may not have to wait long for Wan-Bissaka to return to the line-up, which would then allow Diogo Dalot to play at left-back until Shaw is back from injury.
