Tinubu appoints Abdullahi Mustapha as new Energy Commission Director-General

The President's Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, said the President expects the new ECN chief executive to make a positive impact on his administration's intensive push to diversify the nation's energy sources toward industrializing every part of the country.

Before his recent appointment, Dr Mustapha served for over a decade in the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC). He has significant experience in the energy and space technology sectors.
