Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warns Lebanon about possible attacks if Hezbollah gets involved in the Israel-Hamas war, Lebanon would be "devastated" in response.
According to Newsmen, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warns Lebanon that if Hezbollah decides to enter the war between Israel and Hamas, the IDP troops will strike back to defend the Jews state. According to the Prime Minister, it will long for the Second Lebanon War, referring to the 2006 conflict in which Israel invaded southern Lebanon and pounded Beirut with airstrikes in response to Hezbollah raids into Israel.
Hezbollah is designated as a terrorist organization by several countries, including Israel, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the Arab League, among others.
Therefore, involvement of the United States backing Israel and Iran supporting Hezbollah does raise concerns about the potential for a wider and more destructive conflict in the region. Geopolitical tensions in the Middle East can indeed escalate into more significant and complex conflicts.
