Mason Greenwood has breached the junk food rule at Getafe and could be in trouble with the Spanish club just months after his controversial arrival from Manchester United.
Getafe manager Jose Bordalas has set a strict rule banning players from eating junk food while he is in charge at the La Liga club, as he carefully monitors their weight each day before training.
According to GOAL, Greenwood is now in apparent breach of that rule after the Manchester United loanee was spotted at Burger King with his father, Andrew, after training at Getafe's base in Madrid
The La Liga club is yet to take action against the 22-year-old winger for the incident which happened on Friday, October 20, as he featured in Getafe's La Liga draw against Real Betis the next day.
If found guilty, Greenwood, who has scored one goal so far for Getafe since his summer transfer from the Red Devils, is expected to be fined by the La Liga club.
Man United name price for Greenwood
Meanwhile, Manchester United could bank as much as €20m to €25m if they decide to offload Mason Greenwood following the winger's resurgence with La Liga club Getafe, Team Talk reports.
The 22-year-old forward's performances for Getafe have already piqued the interest of Sevilla, with the Andalusian club willing to outbid their La Liga rivals for his signature next summer.
Man United, for their part, are unlikely to stand in Greenwood's way if he indeed makes clear his wish to remain in Spain after adapting well to the La Liga.
Greenwood gets rare public support
Earlier, Sports Brief reported Mason Greenwood has got rare public support from Manchester United star Amad Diallo after the striker finally made his much-awaited debut for Getafe.
The embattled youngster recently sealed a move to the La Liga side to resuscitate his football career.
