Kenyan-Canadian actress Lupita Nyong'o has broken up with her boyfriend, TV host Selema Masekela.
The "Black Panther" star confirmed via her Instagram handle on Thursday night that she and the American sports commentator are no longer together less than a year after making their relationship official.
The 40-year-old thespian cited "deception" as the reason for their breakup.
Her lengthy Instagram post read, inter alia: "It is necessary for me to share a personal truth and publicly dissociate myself from someone I can no longer trust.
"I find myself in a season of heartbreak because of a love suddenly and devastatingly extinguished by deception."
