Details of Jadon Sancho's brutal Manchester United exile revealed as teammates 'warn winger' he could face January transfer

Sancho has spent six weeks training on his own after a public fallout with manager Erik ten Hag in the wake of United's 3-1 defeat to Arsenal in September.

After the defeat, Ten Hag said Sancho had not made the squad after failing to meet the standards required in training - a claim the winger labelled on social media as "completely untrue".

Indeed, the Times reported that in the build-up to the Arsenal game, Dan Gore, Facundo Pellistri and Hannibal Mejbri had 'bust a gut' in training and, in Ten Hag's eyes, it would have been unfair to leave out the trio. So he dropped Sancho.

Since the fall-out The Mail Online claim Sancho has been training on his own at the United's academy facility.

The 23-year-old, who cost United £73million in 2021, is reportedly working alone at Carrington, where he is forbidden to mix or eat with his teammates.

Sancho allegedly even has to lock the door when he changes in the academy due to safeguarding issues relating to any senior player mixing with minors.

It has been widely reported that Sancho can come back from the cold if he says sorry to Ten Hag.

The Guardian reported Sancho has been urged by senior members of United's squad to apologise to Ten Hag and that the player will be made available for transfer in January if he fails to act on that advice.

Members of United's hierarchy have also reportedly spoken with Sancho to stress that the matter can be resolved only if he says sorry to Ten Hag.

Without an apology, it has been claimed United accept the only solution will be to sell or loan the player in the coming transfer window.
