Former Super Eagles midfielder, Mikel Obi, has described former Chelsea teammate, Eden Hazard as the laziest footballer he has ever seen in life.
Hazard who recently retired from international football, played alongside Mikel for five years, where they won the Premier League title, the UEFA Europa League and the FA Cup.
However, in a chat with the Obi One Podcast, the Nigerian international stated that Hazard has a way of winning the Man of the match award.
"He is the laziest footballer I've ever seen in my life.
"But then, come the weekend and he win the man-of-the-match award, and then he comes in and shows everyone.
"He's like, come on guys, you see.
Eden Michael Walter Hazard was born on 7 January 1991 in La Louvière and grew up in Braine-le-Comte. His mother Carine, and father Thierry, were both footballers.
His father spent most of his career at semi-professional level with La Louvière in the Belgian Second Division, playing mainly as a defensive midfielder.
His mother played as a striker in the Belgian Women's First Division and stopped playing when she was three months pregnant with Eden.
After playing football, both parents became sports teachers. Thierry retired from his position in 2009 to devote more time to his children.
