Saudi Clubs Preparing Summer Bid for Jose Mourinho

Jose Mourinho is still wanted by Saudi Arabia teams despite emphasising his commitment to AS Roma following the club's tough start to the 2023/24 season in Serie A.

The 60-year-old manager was strongly linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League last summer, although he turned down such offers to focus on his job with Roma.

According to One Football, Mourinho is once again likely to be approached by Saudi executives from the nation's Pro League in the summer of 2024 when his contract with the Serie A club expires.

The 'Special One' is set to become a free agent next summer as his current deal with Roma expires in 2024, thereby putting the top Saudi Pro League clubs on alert for his services.

Mourinho recently admitted that he harbours a desire to manage a club in the Middle East and could take up a job role if he sees any suitable offer sometime in the future.

Conte sends Mourinho brutal message

Meanwhile, Antonio Conte has sent a cheeky jibe to Jose Mourinho after being linked as a potential candidate to replace the Portuguese manager at AS Roma following the club's poor start to the season, Daily Mirror reports.

The Italian's time in the English Premier League was marked by an ongoing feud with Mourinho, fuelled by Conte's position as the Portuguese's permanent replacement at Chelsea.

Conte's spat with Mourinho all began after Chelsea defeated Manchester United 4-0 at Stamford Bridge in October 2016, with the Portuguese manager claiming Conte "humiliated" him with his wild celebrations.
