A Nigerian man has taken to social media to expose the hub of Internet fraud which has its origin dating as far back as 1998.
The man had taken to his X account, @samson_at, to post a picture of a newspaper clipping that reported that Nigerians had stolen over ten billion Naira from American citizens, with about two million 419 letters seized from entering into the country.
In the newspaper report, they had said;
"Nigeria's image came under severe bashing yesterday following startling revelations by the United States postal inspectors that they have seized and destroyed two million 419 letters from Nigeria at New York's Kennedy airport, this year alone".
To further prove his point, the man has posted another newspaper article dated 1995, where a young 22 year old girl, a youth corper at the time, was asking the Newspaper counselor, Aunty Temi, if her boyfriend was into Internet fraud as he had no visible means of income.
