Arsenal receives bad news ahead of their match against Manchester City

Arsenal have been dealt a blow ahead of their highly anticipated match against Manchester City, as their star player Bukayo Saka is in doubt for the game. According to a report by The Daily Mail, Saka has picked up an injury on Sunday, although it is not considered to be serious.

Saka has been in scintillating form this season, already scoring four goals and providing two assists in the Premier League. His performances have been instrumental in Arsenal's success so far, helping them secure the third position on the Premier League table with 17 points in the 2023/24 campaign.

The Gunners' most recent outing was a UEFA Champions League game against Lens, which unfortunately ended in a 2-1 defeat for Mikel Arteta's side. Despite the loss, Arsenal will be looking to bounce back and continue their impressive league form when they face Manchester City at Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

However, Saka's potential absence could prove to be a significant setback for Arsenal. The young winger has been a key figure in their attacking play and his absence would undoubtedly be felt by the team. It remains to be seen whether he will recover in time for the crucial clash against Pep Guardiola's side.

Nevertheless, Arsenal will need to find alternative solutions and rely on other players to step up if Saka is unable to feature. The likes of Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Jesus will need to take on additional responsibility in attack to compensate for his potential absence.

Despite this setback, Arsenal will still approach the match with confidence given their strong start to the season. They will be determined to put up a fight against Manchester City and secure all three points at home.
