Director of Voter Intelligence and Strategy for the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Osita Chidoka, has advised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to resign his position because of the discrepancies in his certificate.
The PDP bigwig had said, "Dollar is at N1,000; our foreign reserve is largely made of fake Dollars, borrowed from banks; our letters of credit are no more being accepted by international banks; and then, we are having challenges with power. For you to take these decisions, you need a National Consensus. You need legitimacy, you need to go to the West African region to spread the gospel of democracy. You can't go there with a painted mandate. I think the President should just resign."

The former Aviation Minister, who spoke during an interview on Prime Time, an Arise Television programme, said instead of debating on whether the Supreme Court would accept the evidence of Atiku Abubakar, Nigerians should be more concerned about how the international community would see the country after this. He maintained that it would be hard for a President, whose records are in question, to approach the international community.
Osita advised the President to resign his position for the sake of honour and integrity.
