Onana set to skip AFCON

Reports have suggested that Onana might not join Cameroon for the African Cup of Nations in January.

The Man United goalkeeper is looking to recover his goalkeeping form and could stay back with the Red Devils.

According to reports from Transfer News Live on X, "André Onana is reluctant to take time away from Manchester United to play for Cameroon at the Africa Cup of Nations in January after a difficult start to his career at Old Trafford. His priority is to focus on United."

Onana has conceded 18 goals in nine appearances for Man United this season as he struggles to meet fan's expectations.

Meanwhile, Man United have also had a bad start to the 2023/2024 season, having played nine games, lost six and won three in all competitions.

Ten Hag side will welcome Brentford to Old Trafford on Saturday as they look to avoid another defeat this season.
