Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal are reportedly lining up a huge bid to sign Super Eagles star Victor Osimhen from Napoli ahead of Premier League side Chelsea.
The Nigerian striker is currently going through a rough patch with his club Napoli, due to a viral TikTok video.
There have been reports that the Nigerian international could consider a move away from the Italian side next summer due to the ongoing issue with the club.
The Saudi Pro League side are willing to pay £173m to sign the Nigerian next summer, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Middle East club are not the only club interested in signing the Super Eagles star, with English side Chelsea also monitoring the 24-year-old forward.
Al-Hilal already have a squad filled with big players like Neymar Junior, Malcom, Kalidou Koulibaly, and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic but want to add the Nigerian striker to their ranks next summer.
Reports also have it that the club is allegedly willing to offer Osimhen a contract of at least €40m (£34.67m) per year, according to Sports Mole.
Chelsea might find it difficult to match what Al-Hilal are offering for the services of the Napoli striker and could be knocked out of the race.
Osimhen: Possible destinations for Napoli star
Sports Brief earlier explored four potential destinations for Victor Osimhen if the Nigerian forward eventually leave Napoli.
The seemingly perfect union between Osimhen and SSC Napoli now appears to be on the verge of dissolution. The reigning Serie A champions shared a TikTok video that ridiculed the striker following his missed penalty during the 0-0 draw against Bologna.
Osimhen's agent, Roberto Calenda voiced his intention to potentially pursue legal action against Napoli in response to the video and the player himself has removed all club-related photos from his Instagram account, per Eurosport.
