Marcus Rashford has named the Manchester United summer signing that has left him 'super excited', according to Premier League Productions.
The Red Devils made several acquisitions in preparation for the 2023-24 season as Erik ten Hag aimed to build upon their third-place finish in the Premier League from the previous season, which also marked United's first trophy win since 2017. The notable signings included Rasmus Hojlund, Mason Mount, and Andre Onana, while Sofyan Amrabat and Sergio Reguilon arrived on loan. Additionally, United re-signed free agent Jonny Evans and secured a backup goalkeeper.
Rashford has expressed his admiration, particularly for the Danish international forward Hojlund, and is eagerly anticipating the opportunity to form a partnership with his teammate. 'I am honestly super excited about it,' Rashford told Premier League Productions. 'At times last year, we were going on counterattacks, and we would just see shirts of other bodies, and usually, the only the cut-back that was on was to Bruno [Fernandes] who was arriving later. 'Whereas this year, you have to understand the dynamics have changed, so we have spoken to each other and done a little bit of work off the pitch, probably that the coaching staff don't even know, between [just] me and him.'
