Manchester United boss, Erik ten Hag is optimistic that Sergio Reguilon, Christian Eriksen and Scott McTominay will return to his matchday squad for this weekend's clash with Crystal Palace.
The trio were unavailable for the 3-0 Carabao Cup victory on Tuesday over the same opponents due to illness.
Reguillon failed to report to the club's Carrington training complex following Saturday's clash at Turf Moor, with United protocol seeing players who are unwell sent home or told to stay away to prevent a spread of illness through the squad.
The Spaniard is said to have felt ill before the Burnley win, but requested to play and made it through 79 minutes, when he was replaced by Raphael Varane.
Meanwhile, Eriksen and McTominay were expected to feature against Palace. Although they both reported for training on Monday, they subsequently felt under the weather and missed the match.
