Erik ten Hag has singled out two Manchester United stars for blame following their Champions League defeat at Bayern Munich.
United have endured a frustrating start to the new season, winning just two of their five opening games of the Premier League campaign.
The Manchester club suffered a 3-1 defeat last weekend against Brighton and were hoping to bounce back to winning ways when they faced Bayern on Wednesday night.
However, their efforts proved futile as they were condemned to yet another defeat in a seven-goal thriller.
The Guardian reports that the Bundesliga giants scored two quick-fire goals in the 28th and 32nd minute through Leroy Sane and Serge Gnabry to take an early lead in the tie.

Rasmus Hojlund went on to pull one back for United before the break, only for Harry Kane to restore Bayern's two-goal advantage.
While Casemiro managed a brace deep in the second half, it was not enough to earn United at least a point in the Group A opener.
Ten Hag blames United duo after Bayern loss
Ten Hag has now taken issue with the performance of two Man United stars, blaming them for their loss at Bayern.
Speaking after the tie, the underfire Dutchman suggested Marcus Rashford and Christian Eriksen should have done more to prevent Sane from getting the opener.
"It's not only about one mistake because before that, it was too easy for the player to take the shot," Ten Hag said via Express UK.
"Mistakes are being made but you have to bounce back as a team," he added.
