Paul Pogba's agent, Rafaela Pimenta, has insisted that the Juventus midfielder "never wanted to break the rules".
Pimenta said this in a statement she sent out after the player was 'provisionally' suspended for failing an anti-doping test.
Following a Serie A fixture with Udinese, Pogba was found to have tested positive for testosterone, which is a banned substance.
Pogba has been given three days to respond to the charge.
But Pimenta said on Wednesday night: "We are waiting for the counter analysis and until then we can't say anything.
"The certain thing is that Paul Pogba never wanted to break the rules."
