Al-Nassr forward, Sadio Mane has revealed the person who told him to join the Saudi Arabian club.
Mane joined Al-Nassr from Bayern Munich in August for €30 million.
The former Liverpool player had spent just a year with Bayern but struggled amid a serious leg injury and off-the-field drama.
The 31-year-old was linked with several European clubs, including Chelsea, who were reported to be tracking him back in April.
However, Mane decided to join Al-Nassr but has now revealed that his mother asked him to choose the Saudi side.
"My family encouraged me to come to Saudi Arabia, especially since it is a Muslim country," Mane said (via EuroFoot).
"My mother was very happy and insisted that I chose Al-Nassr."
Mane has since started his career with Al-Nassr, linking up with captain Cristiano Ronaldo in the team's attack line.
The former Southampton star has already scored five goals in six games across competitions for Al-Nassr.
