1. Brush your teeth after eating no matter the time of the day. 2. Brush your tongue very well each time you set out to brush. If you don't brush your tongue well, the bad breath causing bacteria would still make your breath smell bad.
3. Avoid dry mouth, try as much as possible to keep your mouth moisturized during the day because dry mouth is one of the main causes of bad breath. So, try as much as possible to keep your mouth wet or lubricated at all times either with gum or take enough water.
4. Regularly change your toothbrush. Using an old toothbrush may also worsen your conditions.
5. Adjust your diet by eating less pungent foods like onions, garlic and ginger. Eat more of fruits like watermelon, carrots etc. to keep the mouth salivated.
