Angry Liverpool fans believe there's a VAR conspiracy against them after last night's Match Officials Mic'd Up show.
The show, which dissects VAR decisions, aired on Tuesday as Michael Owen and PGMOL chief Howard Webb touched on a number of incidents from the opening four gameweeks of the new Premier League season.
They reviewed incidents involving Andre Onana against Wolves, Virgil van Dijk's red card against Newcastle United and Kai Havertz's penalty U-turn during Arsenal vs. Manchester United.
But Alexis Mac Allister's controversial red card against Bournemouth, which was later overturned on appeal, wasn't discussed by Webb.
They failed to release the audio from Paul Tierney, who was on VAR duty, and Thomas Bramall's decision making to send off the Argentine midfielder for his challenge on Ryan Christie.
The failure to release any VAR audio from that incident between Mac Allister and Christie angered Liverpool fans on social media.
X user @paul_tomkins wrote: "So, we didn't get the VAR audio for when Paul Tierney, who hates Klopp, and his VAR assistant, who elbowed Andy Robertson, somehow *agreed* that Mac Allister DESERVED a red - before an independent panel and various people said the red card was 'nonsense'? Surprise surprise! #LFC."
Another Liverpool fan chimed in: "The @FA_PGMOL really don't help themselves at all. Shambolic."
A second said: "Why do they get to pick which audio to release? And why?"
Another added: "This is the audio we all need to test integrity of match officials. Let us hear these two speak."
Liverpool were successful in their appeal for Mac Allister's red card as the FA overturned the decision, preventing the player from receiving a three-match ban.
