MLS: Celebrities didn't attend Inter Miami's game because of Messi - Pulisic

AC Milan forward, Christian Pulisic has claimed that the plethora of stars that attended Inter Miami's game against Los Angeles Football Club at BMO Stadium, on Sunday night, were invited.

He insinuated that contrary to reports that the celebrities came to watch Argentine prodigy, Lionel Messi, they were invited for promotional purposes.

We recall that American sport outlets reported that celebrities and royalty, including Prince Harry and Selena Gomez attended Inter Miami's game against LAFC on Sunday night "to watch Lionel Messi."

However, reposting a clip captioned "The stars shone bright for MLS matchday", via his Instagram story, Pulisic who represents the U.S national team, insisted that the celebrities were invited, adding that they also get similar invites to watch the national team's games too.

The former Chelsea player wrote,

"Let them know they [celebrities] are invited to US national team games too."
