Jadon Sancho's public outburst against his Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag could have severe consequences according to reports.
Manchester United lost 3-1 to Arsenal on Sunday and Red Devils boss Ten Hag said Sancho was left out of the squad because he failed to train at an acceptable level.
Sancho to be punished by Manchester United
Sancho took to social media to refute those claims after the game, insisting the manager had a different reason for refusing to select him.
The 23-year-old went on to say he was being used as a "scapegoat" and could now face disciplinary action for his outburst, according to the Guardian.
Ten Hag and Sancho have reportedly failed to see eye to eye for weeks due to the player's low training levels and this could rumble on for weeks if no solution is found between the two parties.
The club and Ten Hag have opted against making a public statement in response to Sancho's post but they are expected to speak to the player in the coming days.
