Newcastle United fans have joked they have been drawn in the biggest 'group of death ever' after they made their return to the Champions League.
The Magpies last graced Europe's upper echelons in 2002, but after Eddie Howe got them flying again last season - Newcastle earned a spot in pot four.
And being in the final pot of the draw, Newcastle fans had to watch a plethora of European royalty drawn into groups before it was finally their turn.
Howe's side were drawn into a group with PSG, Borussia Dortmund, and AC Milan - leading to uproar on social media from Newcastle fans.

"Typical Newcastle luck... well it's definitely gonna be some great nights at St James'," one fan joked. While a second said: "Wouldn't shock me if Newcastle won that group tbh!"
"Group F is the biggest group of death I've ever seen in recent years," a third shared. And another added: "We've never had it easy; this week has been the most Newcastle United week in history!"
It's been a tough week for Newcastle fans.
Over the weekend they watched they're seemingly cruising to 1-0 victory against 10-men Liverpool at home, only for a Darwin Nunez double to silence St James' Park.
And they had no better luck on Wednesday evening during the Carabao Cup third round draw. Newcastle was drawn against Manchester City - who have already beaten Howe's side this season.
