Moises Caicedo left Chelsea fans purring after a stunning full debut for the club.
The Ecuadorian midfielder joined the Blues for a British transfer record deal worth £115million from Brighton but endured a debut to forget last week against West Ham after giving away a penalty in the 3-1 defeat.
However Caicedo was given a chance from the off against Luton and showed glimpses of what he had to offer in a 1-0 win.
While the 21-year-old gave the ball away early on in the match, Caicedo grew into the clash and started to increase his influence as he got on the ball in a deep position and started to pull the strings for Mauricio Pochettino's side.
Caicedo completed 58 of his 60 passes attempted, boasted a 100 per cent tackle success rate and a 100 per cent long ball success rate.
With three interceptions and two blocks to his name as well, his defensive contribution was very clear to fans who were watching on.
Having pipped Liverpool to the signing of the in-demand star, Chelsea fans had high hopes of what to expect from Caicedo when he joined from earlier this month, but appear to be very much sold on the midfielder now.
One supporter wrote on social media: "The little king is here."
Another said: "Much better, keep growing Moises."
A third fan added: "What a player, Enzo [Fernandez] and Caicedo cooked," while another simply said: "Superb performance. Kept things ticking."
"Enzo and Caicedo, best pivot in the league hands down," declared one supporter, while another said: "He was everywhere like [N'Golo] Kante."
Meanwhile one final fan described him as the "best holding midfielder in the league."
