Nine players who could leave as Arsenal plan to raise £100 million before deadline day

As many as nine players could leave Arsenal before the end of the summer transfer window.

So far, Arsenal have spent over £200 million on the likes of Kai Havertz, Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber, as well as the loan signing of David Raya from Brentford.

With just one week to go until the transfer window slams shut, the Gunners would like to raise as much as £100 million from player sales in order to balance the books.

This week, it was reported that Kieran Tierney and Folarin Balogun are edging ever closer to leaving the club.

It has been said that Tierney is closing in on a loan move to Real Sociedad whilst Balogun is set to be sold to AS Monaco for a reported fee of £40 million.

The likes of Rob Holding, Cedric Soares, Nuno Tavares, Nicolas Pepe, Albert Sambi Lokonga and Takehiro Tomiyasu all face uncertain futures at the Emirates Stadium.

Meanwhile, Brazilian centre-back Gabriel Magalhaes has been linked with a move to the Saudi Professional League.

Speaking ahead of Arsenal's match against Fulham this weekend, Mikel Arteta spoke about Gabriel and potential outgoings.

He said: "Gabby is really important for us, an important player - there's nothing going on at the moment.

"There are some movements happening. The last week is going to be busy. Nothing that we can announce at the moment."

Gabriel has so far been left out of the starting eleven for both of Arsenal's Premier League matches.

Explaining his decision, Arteta said: "It's about the games we were expecting, that I was expecting, and how I wanted to defend and attack and what I believed was the best thing.

"He's played in both games, he helped us to win both games for different reasons. He was really good today, he absolutely dominated the box when he came on and he's going to play a lot of games. But that's the decision sometimes."
