Shehu Sani, a former senator for Kaduna Central has taken to his verified Twitter page to react to the abduction of eight youth corpers by terrorists along the highway of Zamfara state.
It was reported that some gunmen on Saturday, abducted eight members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), along a highway in Zamfara State, Nigeria's North-west geopolitical zone.
While reacting to this report, Shehu Sani took to his microblogging, Twitter page to air out his view.
According to the former lawmaker, he made it known in his statement by saying the report of the abduction of Youth Corpers by terrorists along the highway in Zamfara state is unfortunate.
On that note, Shehu Sani added that it's an avoidable tragedy, knowing the dangers of that road, but we now have to deal with it.
However, Shehu Sani concluded his statement by saying everything must be done by the Government to secure the lives and freedom of the victims.
In his tweet, Shehu Sani wrote below:
"The news of the abduction of Youth Corpers by terrorists along the highway in Zamfara state is unfortunate; it's an avoidable tragedy, knowing the dangers of that road, but we now have to deal with it. Everything must be done by the Government to secure the lives and freedom of the victims."
