Sergio Ramos remains one of football's most sort after free agents following his departure from Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint Germain.
The 37-year-old World Cup winner, who has no intention to hang his boots, is reported to have turned down offers from the MLS and the Suadi Pro League amongst a host of offers he has received.
Most recently, according to the reports from Marca, the former Real Madrid defender ca turned down an offer to join Liga MX side Club America over the failure to reach a suitable salary agreement.
As club football leagues across Europe continue to restart and the transfer gets to its tail end, a surprise club from Turkey has entered the race to sign the veteran defender.
Turkish club to sign Ramos
According to reports from Diario AS, the former PSG man could be on the move to Turkish Supa Lig side Galatasaray who already have proposed a two-year contract to the defender. The club's offer is estimated to be worth €5.5 million per year.
The Istanbul club hopes to be in the Champions League and wants to sign the centre-back who dominated the competition for over a decade.
The decision lies in whether Ramos will accept this offer, given he already turned down the chance to join rivals Besiktas earlier in the transfer window.
Furthermore, considering the growing reports regarding a plausible offer from the Saudi Pro League, which could be on the negotiating table, the defender might be inclined to choose the more financially rewarding arrangement.
While the future of the iconic defender remains unsettled, it remains to be seen where Ramos decides to take his football next.
