Todd Boehly tells Chelsea star that he can leave Chelsea for free

According to reports in Turkey, the Chelsea hierarchy have informed Hakim Ziyech that he can leave for Galatasaray on a free transfer.

Chelsea reached an agreement with Saudi club Al-Nassr earlier this summer to sell Ziyech for £8million but the deal collapsed after the Moroccan international failed his medicals.

Ziyech has since found himself in limbo at Stamford Bridge as he is not a part of Mauricio Pochettino's plans.

Chelsea is prepared to let the 30-year-old leave for nothing as the Blues attempt to remove any remaining deadwood at Stamford Bridge, taking a £33.3m loss on their initial investment made when signing him from Ajax in February 2020.
