Neymar's move from Barcelona to PSG remains the most expensive transfer of all time. The Parisians spent a lot of money on signing Neymar but he was unable to help the club win the UEFA Champions League title.
The Brazilian forward parted ways with PSG to sign for Saudi side Al-Hilal. Neymar Jr has joined Al Hilal on $300m package record salary in two years, no option to extend.
His Salary could go up to potential $400m total until 2025 based on add-ons & commercial deals. The deal was completed by his father Neymar Pai and super-agent Pini Zahavi.
PSG told Neymar to find a new club and he as linked with a move to Barcelona. However, the Catalan club were not interested in signing Neymar and the move was rejected by Xavi who doesn't seem interested in working with the Brazilian forward.
Neymar will play alongside Kalidou Koulibaly, Rubén Neves, and former Bordeaux winger Malcom at Al-Hilal.
PSG spent €180 million on signing Kylian Mbappe from Monaco, Barcelona spent €145 million on signing Philippe Coutinho from Liverpool, Chelsea spent €128 million on signing Moises Caicedo from Brighton, Atletico Madrid spent €126 million on signing Joao Felix from Benfica.
Enzo Fernandez, Declan Rice, Antoine Griezmann, Jack Grealish, Lukaku, Ousmane Dembele, Paul Pogba and Jude Bellingham are among the most expensive transfers of all time.
