Tottenham Hotspur have finally accepted an offer from Bayern Munich for striker Harry Kane.
That's according to The Athletic's David Ornstein, who reports on Thursday (citing sources in Germany) that after a protracted summer of negotiations, Spurs have agreed to sell Kane to Bayern for a fee of more than €100m.
The 30-year-old England captain must now decide whether he wants to join the Bundesliga champions, and there are suggestions that he has been leaning more towards staying with his boyhood club in recent weeks.
Kane is into the final 12 months of his Spurs contract but has reportedly been enjoying working with new manager Ange Postecoglou and was hoping his future would be resolved before the club kick off their season against Brentford on Sunday.
It remains to be seen whether he will now decide that his chances of winning silverware are better at Bayern. If not, Spurs will be hoping they can convince him to sign a new contract, rather than potentially losing him on a free transfer next summer.
