Manchester United have reportedly set sights on an African centre-back to replace departing defender Harry Maguire.
The Red Devils and West Ham are in talks for the transfer of the 31-year-old.
It has been even reported that Manchester United have agreed a £30m fee to sell Maguire despite evaluating him at £50m. And they are not in short of ideas for his replacement.
According to Manchester Evening News, the Old Trafford-based outfit is luring Burkina Faso defender Edmond Tapsoba to replace Maguire.
Red Devils manager Erik ten Hag is said to be a big fan of the 24-year old's composure and maturity.
Knowing his contract ends next year at Bayer Leverkusen, Tapsoba should not cost a lot. But Man United have other options like Benjamin Pavard and Jean-Clair Todibo.
