Rasmus Hojlund has been unveiled as a Manchester United player at Old Trafford.

The Denmark international took to the Old Trafford pitch at half-time during their final pre-season friendly against Lens to a huge reception from the ten of thousands of fans in attendance.

The 20-year-old has cost the club an initial £64m with a further £8m to follow in add-ons, joining Mason Mount and Andre Onana as part of a spending spree worth £175million as Erik ten Hag's men look to build on an improved season.

Hojlund will be tasked with leading the line for United after the struggles of Wout Weghorst on loan, having spent just a single season with Atalanta in Italy.

Hojlund scored 10 goals for the club across 34 appearances in total, having netted 12 times in 21 games for Sturm Graz after leaving boyhood club Copenhagen.

His goalscoring ratio at international level is a goal per game after six appearances for Denmark, scoring six times in four games so far this year.

United had also been linked with a move for Harry Kane before focusing on a younger target, with Ten Hag looking to build on their League Cup triumph from last season.

The Red Devils are also back in the Champions League thanks to their third-place Premier League finish, with Mason Greenwood a potential returnee.
