Nyesom Wike, the Former Governor of Rivers State has said that President Bola Ahmed would not regret choosing him as a minister in his cabinet.
Remember that Wike was among the Twenty-Eight (28) nominees whose name was submitted to the House of Assembly for ministerial positions in the current administration.
According to Punch News, he made this known during the screening exercise organized for the ministerial nominees by the Senate at Abuja. He however stated that he would not fail in carrying out his ministerial duties once he is appointed into office.
Wike said: ' I thank Mr. President for nominating me. I believe knowing how hungry he is to solve the problems of Nigeria, we have no choice but to give him that required support and I can assure you that if I am confirmed, he will never in whatever capacity regret nominating me '.
