Nigerian politician and the first female President of OPEC, Diezani Alison-Madueke causes a stir as she poses for a photo in the UK at the graduation event of her son.
It would be recalled that the EFCC, in 2017 accused the ex-minister of stealing N47.2bn, $487.5m and an involvement in money laundering.
Diezani at the time was in the UK where she claimed to be battling breast cancer and reportedly undertook a course of treatment, which consisted of two operations, chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
In a recent development, the face of Diezani Alison-Madueke once again surfaced on the internet after being shared by Ben Bruce, the founder of Silverbird Group.
Taking to Instagram, Ben celebrated the ex-minister while stating the photo was taking at her son's graduation in England.
"Sassy, smart, and always sophisticated. Celebrating with the amazing Diezani Alison-Madueke at her son's graduation at Reading University. Her son's achievement is a testament to the power of good parenting. Excellence indeed runs in the family," Ben wrote.
The photo, however, sparked a wave of reactions from Nigerians who revisited the allegations of fraud against Diezani.
